One of the most modern libraries in the world is the Mohammed Bi Rashid (MBR) Library that is currently being completed in Dubai.
The design of the library is in the form of an open book on a Turkish lectern and will cost about one billion dirhams. It will house about 4 500 000 million books, digital material and audio books and also cater for conference and exhibition facilities. An important add on will be a children’s library, a dedicated bookshop, reading halls and training facilities. Parking for 1000 cars has been included in this magnificent design.
