Brief info
Dr Yousuf Patel is medical doctor with a postgraduate degree in emergency medicine. He completed his traditional Islamic studies at the Dar al-`Ulum al-`Arabiyyah al-Islamiyyah which was founded by Mufti Taha Karaan. Additionally, he has completed a BA in Philosophy and Sociology, and BA Honours in Contemporary Islamic Thought. His academic interests include the study of Islamic thought, theology, ethics and spiritual well being. He serves as a Trustee and the Director of Programs at the library.
